Gang War (1958)
Director: Gene Fowler Jr.
Starring: Charles Bronson, Kent Taylor, Jennifer Holden
Synopsis:
The witness to a gangland killing becomes a target to prevent him from testifying.
Impressions:
The way this movie develops, you almost expect it to turn into Death Wish. Those who are hoping for a younger Charles Bronson shooting up hoodlums are going to be disappointed, however. Most of the movie builds up to the final encounter between Bronson's character and the mob boss behind it all. The ending has some merit to it, but some people may find it anticlimactic. It's only a so-so movie, so take it or leave it.
