Dillinger (1945)

Dillinger (1945)

Director: Max Nosseck
Starring: Lawrence Tierney, Edmund Lowe, Anne Jeffreys

Synopsis:
After a spell in prison for petty theft, John Dillinger rises to become one of the most notorious criminals in the country.

Impressions:
While certainly not a documentary account of Dillinger's life and exploits, this is a decent enough crime story. It drags in a few places, but Lawrence Tierney's performance as Dillinger is strong. I'd generally say it's worth watching if you like these kind of stories, but otherwise it might be more of a take it or leave it deal.
