We Never Learn (2018)
[γΌγγγ‘γ―εεΌ·γγ§γγͺγ]
Volume 7
Author/Artist: Taishi Tsutsui
Publisher: Jump Comics
Synopsis:
The Council of Thorns approaches Furuhashi with a social media post featuring her in a compromising situation.
Story/Characters:
That night Yuiga and Furuhashi spent together after the summer festival comes back to bite them and it's fun watching them try to track down the person who took the picture of them. The punchline is great. Next is a chapter where a pair of classmates not bound by Japanese romcom rules put some ideas in Yuiga and Takemoto's heads. We follow it with Ashumi-senpai taking Yuiga along for her cafe's new maid housecleaning service. I'm sure you can imagine the clientele we have lined up. Next is the "I love you" game, which has a great kicker. Then we have Kurisu-sensei dealing with sleep deprivation and after that, Ogata gets a makeover. Yuiga/Furuhashi fans get a cute little chapter where they're trying to get out of the rain. Fun with Takemoto and English comes after that. We then close with a Senpai chapter. I know her and Yuiga are a long shot, but I do like their dynamic. (Then again, I think all the pairings have their own charm.)
Art:
Compared to the previous volume, this one is fairly tame. Other than that, things are pretty well up to par. No complaints about the visuals.
Conclusion:
While this is a fairly low-key volume, it makes for a pleasant enough read. It should keep the fans content. Give it a shot.
