We Never Learn - Volume 3 (2017)

Author/Artist: Taishi Tsutsui
Publisher: Jump Comics

Synopsis:
Takemoto makes lunch for Yuiga, but then she misplaces her bag and Yuiga helps her get it back.

Story/Characters:
There's more of a Takemoto focus this volume, so if you're a fan of her, you'll like it. People who prefer Furuhashi or Ogata get some good stuff too. As far as the Bokuben fandom in general go, this volume features the chapter that really puts Kurisu-sensei into the game. This volume also introduces the web of matchmaking. We've got Takemoto's teammates trying to hook her up with Yuiga, the Council of Thorns shepherding Furuhashi's relationship with Yuiga, and Furuhashi herself trying to support both Ogata and Takemoto while acting as Yuiga's tutor when it comes to women.

I particularly liked the chapter where Ogata's glasses get broken and the pajama party was fun because we get to look at the girls from Sekijo's perspective. I also appreciate how Kurisu-sensei's character is being developed.

Art:
The art continues to be first-rate and adorable. If you're here for the fanservice, we have a whole chapter where the gang is talking to each other in the bath, complete with imagination spots where their minds go wild. Then there's Kurisu-sensei. It actually messes with one of the moments a bit, but, hey, by now you should understand what kind of series this is.

Conclusion:
I admit that this series isn't all that deep, but I find it a lot of fun. I enjoy the characters and their interactions. Sometimes I think the fanservice starts to intrude a bit, but it's all rather harmless. I'm pretty sure that anyone already hooked is going to continue to enjoy themselves. I wouldn't quite call it a must-own, but I don't regret having it in my collection.
