Fire Emblem: Sword of the Conqueror (2004)
[ファイアーエムブレム 覇者の剣]
Volume 7

Author: Hiroshi Izawa
Artist: Kotaro Yamada
Publisher: Jump Comics
Synopsis:
Tina tries get Al to the hidden village in Nabata before his awakened powers consume him.
Story/Characters:
I will say that in this volume Tina really shines with the lengths she goes to to save Al. Speaking of Al, we get a little more development on the revelations from the previous volume. They also do some interesting things with Zeed. Fa gets a fair bit of screentime, so if you're a fan of her, that's fun. A new enemy is revealed and afterward the action turns to Etruria, where things come together for the next big battle.
Art:
We get some good action scenes and the backgrounds for Etruria's capital Aquleia are positively gorgeous. Murdock has some effectively imposing screen presence.
Other:
We get character sheets for Fa and Igraine, fanart, the Q&A column, an afterword comic, and a one-page illustration of Melady, I believe.
Conclusion:
This volume does some good things with Tina's character and I like the flow of events once we get to Etruria. If you're following along, this is well enough worth a read.
