Don't Bet on Blondes (1935)

Director: Robert Florey
Starring: Warren William, Claire Dodd, Guy Kibbee
Synopsis:
A bookie starts up an insurance racket and takes up a policy to keep a girl from getting married so she can continue to support her father.
Impressions:
This is an okay film that banks heavily on Warren William's charm. There are a few particularly good lines, but otherwise it's a fairly standard romantic comedy for the era. Now, if you particularly like this style of romcom, you should enjoy it. Otherwise, there may not be much for you. Take it or leave it.
