Impressions:
I've said before that I'm not really an Angelina Jolie fan, but seeing as how this is one of her first roles, I had to see it for myself. Her acting is about as good as you'd expect from the average 18-year-old cast in a direct-to-video sequel to a Jean-Claude Van Damme flick with no JCVD. I'm sure some of you out there don't intend to pick this up to appreciate quality acting, though. Whether or not you find sufficient satisfaction on that front, I couldn't say. This is the sort of thing that goes straight to the Syfy Channel nowadays. I can't say much good about it, except that Jack Palance is kinda fun as the mysterious guide Mercy and Billy Drago isn't half bad as the bounty hunter Danny Bench. That's it really. If you feel like rooting around the bargain bin for this one, have at it, but you'd probably be better off finding something a little more decent to spend your time.
