The elderly Shahanshah seeks to secure his legacy by mending the age-old divide between Ahura and Daeva. The first step will be commemorated by the union of the Shahpur to a noble Daeva. This blasphemy does not go unpunished. An Ahura calling himself Melek Taus overthrows the Shahanshah and claims the Empire for his own. The Shahpur is lost and the Daeva he is betrothed to is mortally wounded. However, their souls are passed on to other bodies and fall dormant, lost for years. An unlikely pair of an Ahura and a Daeva search for these lost souls to fulfill the late Shahanshah's dream. Even if they find the humans bearing the souls, will it be enough to stand up to the mighty Melek Taus?
