Synopsis:
A construction worker travels to Mars after awakening his secret agent alter-ego, but he must struggle with what is real and what is in his head.

Impressions:
I'm generally not that much of a fan of Paul Verhoeven and this is one of Arnold Schwarzenegger's films from his heyday that I gave lukewarm regard at best. However, I know it's well-loved by many and it's not without its charm. There's some good action and imaginative design for the Martian mutants. The mindscrew aspect of the plot is good, but I used to feel a lot more dissatisfied with the conclusion back in the day. I can't give it a very enthusiastic endorsement, but I will say it's worth giving a watch.
