Synopsis:
James Bond teams up with a Chinese agent to thwart a media mogul's plot to trigger a war between the UK and China.

Impressions:
Watching the Bond films out of sequence, I came into this after watching Die Another Die and I pretty much had no faith in the Pierce Brosnan run as 007, but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It's arguably the best of the four Brosnan Bond films. The story and the action were good. Jonathan Pryce is a solid Bond villain and I liked Götz Otto as his dragon Stamper. Michelle Yeoh transcends the simple label of Bond girl and is a truly competent match for Bond. A spin-off series for Wai Lin might be fun. Anyway, I enjoyed this one and recommend you giving it a watch.

Side note: Look for the cameo by Al Matthews, a.k.a. Sergeant Apone.
