Impressions:
I greatly enjoyed The Lego Movie, so I was looking forward to this. I'm happy to say that anyone who liked The Lego Movie will like this as well. Also, if you're even marginally a Batman nerd, there are loads of in-jokes and references that act as a force multiplier for the fun. And while there's a lot of comedy to be had, you also get some sincere character drama that comes with the fallout of Lego Batman's abrasive personality. About the only thing you could justifiably complain about is the short end of the stick afforded to most of the Rogues' Gallery (but the exchange is that we see dang near all of them, up to and including Condiment King [yes, really]). At least Billy Dee Williams finally gets to play Two Face. This is an outstanding film that any Lego fan, Batman fan or Lego Batman fan will gladly add to their collection.
