Synopsis:
A parsimonious undertaker makes his own business when times get tough.

Impressions:
This is a comedy that isn't very funny, which makes watching it something of a chore. You've got a number of big-name actors like Vincent Price, Peter Lorre, Boris Karloff, and Basil Rathbone who do what they can with the material, but there's not much you can do. I realize the wife's cacophonous singing is supposed to be a running gag, but it's just painful and stupid. There's not much merit to seeing this, so you'd do just as well to pass on it.
