Impressions:
I thought Taken 2 was unnecessary but found it to be a decent watch. I was even more skeptical of Taken 3, though I was amused by the premise. *trailer voice* "Byran Mills is accused of a murder he didn't commit." As opposed to all the actual murders he did commit. Still, when I gave it a chance, I like it well enough. Doesn't have a patch on the original and it's honestly a step down from the second film as well, but it's still a decent watch. I particularly liked Forest Whitaker's character as the dogged detective who stays close on Bryan's tail. Also, it was nice seeing Bryan's crew get involved this go around. If you're a fan of the series, you'll probably want to see this. Just be aware of the diminishing returns. Fortunately for the film, the first one was so good that you've got a long way to fall while still being better than a lot of the other stuff out there.
