Impressions:
There are a number of familiar names in the credits for B action movie aficionados. Acknowledge, first and foremost, that this is a B movie. Once you're square with that, you can probably get a fair bit of enjoyment out of it. There's some decent action to be have. Dolph Lundgren is solid in the lead, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa makes a pretty good villain, and Valerie Chow has decent action girl chops (though she nevertheless tends to get stuck in the damsel in distress role). I was actually expecting this to be a fantasy film based on the title and the description I read, but there are no literal dragons to be had. There is a bit of a schizo tech vibe going on, which I rather liked. The unloaded RPG-7 launchers being treated like they could actually fire something was amusing. It's a so-so film that you can take or leave as you will.
