Impressions:
This is a nice little slice-of-life where our quirky female lead adds some spice to the protagonist's existence. Now, people who were familiar with series writer Jun Maeda's work were all waiting for the other shoe to drop (and apparently there were official statements warning the audience beforehand). I have mixed feelings on how the series' third act was handled. I think the final emotional payoffs would've had more resonance if there was more development. For instance, if we had 24 eps and the turn happened at the series' midpoint, it probably would've been better. Well, we've got what we've got and it's nevertheless pretty good with some fine production values. It's definitely worth a watch and you may well want to add it to your collection.
