Ride Him, Cowboy (1932)
Director: Fred Allen
Starring: John Wayne, Duke, Ruth Hall
Synopsis:
After saving the life of a spirited horse, a cowboy goes after the trail of the notorious bandit known as The Hawk.
Impressions:
They say that Stagecoach was the film that really made John Wayne a star. Taking that into consideration, I was curious to see some of his work before that point. The Duke was 25 when this was made and it's rather endearing to see him back when he was young and awkward. This is a fairly harmless B movie, but if you want to see what John Wayne was like before he made it big, this is a good choice. Give it a watch.
