An Affair to Remember (1957)
Director: Leo McCarey
Starring: Cary Grant, Deborah Kerr, Richard Denning
Synopsis:
Two people meet on a trip to France and fall in love, then give themselves six months to test their feelings and sort out old relationships before they can get married.
Impressions:
This isn't a bad little love story. A bit more melodramatic than I prefer and the entire conflict of the third act could have been avoided with a little basic communication, but it's not a bad watch. Cary Grant brings the charm he's known for and he has some good chemistry with Deborah Kerr. I'd say it's worth seeing. Give it a shot.
