Impressions:
We can file this under "kids' movies I saw because I'm around kids". Illumination is a known quantity. They're technically competent (honestly quite skilled as animators), not outstanding storytellers, but they reliably deliver entertainment for their target audience. This movie isn't going to be held up as one of the greats of animation, but it does its job well enough and gives you some decent chuckles along the way. The message about taking risks to get the most out of life is a decent one, but it also does a fine job of demonstrating that risks aren't risks for nothing. The average adult viewer should find it at least tolerable and most children should enjoy themselves. You could certainly do worse for children's entertainment, so consider giving it a watch.
