Synopsis:
The young lord of a marchland domain finds himself fending off threats to his homeland from both without and within.

Impressions:
I was actually looking forward to this as I liked the story of the game this is adapted from but didn't like the gameplay. (And then I found myself skipping the story so I could farm currency for gacha pulls, but that's a story for another time.) It's a decent adaptation if a bit on the stiff side with somewhat dodgy production values but not too bad as far as TV anime goes. It only covers the first arc of the game's story and the ending rushed and inconclusive. The chances of a continuation are small, so that's bound to be dissatisfying if you get into it but don't have access to the game. It's well enough worth a watch if you mind the caveats.
