Synopsis:
A shy artist becomes the object of torment of a hyperactive underclasswoman.

Impressions:
I guess if there wasn't a sizable market of masochists out there, dominatrices would be out of work. The artist who created Nagatoro-san dubbed her a "sadodere". Apparently the original webcomic was quite a bit more on the "sado" side than the later manga adaptation this series was in turn adapted from. Comparisons will be drawn to similar types of romantic comedy like Teasing Master Takagi-san and Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! and Nagatoro is definitely in a different league. It would actually be a turnoff for most viewers, I'd think, but I was induced to sticking around when it became clear that Nagatoro isn't quite as much in control as she'd like to appear. Once she starts to get a little more blowback and Sempai starts to assert himself more, it becomes a more pleasant if more conventional experience. Nagatoro is aptly likened to a cat and ailurophile that I am, that was probably part of the reason I kept going. If you can get past the start, this is fairly enjoyable and I'd recommend giving it a watch.
