House of Wax (1953)

Synopsis:
The curator of a wax museum nearly dies in a fire set by an associate attempting insurance fraud, but he survives and returns with a vengeance.

Impressions:
Much like most of the Vincent Price films I've seen, this one is all about his performance. The story and characters and all that are decent enough, but it's Price that make this film truly worth seeing. You no doubt know the secret going into the film, so the mystery only works as dramatic irony. Like I said, it's all about Price. It's also worth noting the small role of Charles Bronson in one of his earlier performances. Anyway, give this one a watch.
