Synopsis:
A shipwrecked English sailor awakens to find himself in a land of tiny people embroiled in a bitter war.

Impressions:
If you've come here looking for a serious treatment of the source material, you're going to be disappointed. This is a very loose adaptation of the Lilliput section of the book that takes almost 40 minutes just for Gulliver to wake up. As a harmless kiddie romp with the sort of cartoon antics you're used to seeing from the shorts of the era, it does well enough. It does show, however, that such an approach isn't as well-suited to full-length works. As a piece of animation history, it deserves to be watched. As an adaptation, it disappoints quite a bit, but for family entertainment, it's not bad. If you can accept it for what it is, give it a watch. Otherwise, pass on it.
