Synopsis:
The brother of the Hero, convinced that he is holding the party back, retires to a small village where he begins working as an apothecary.
Impressions:
The "slow life" stories were once an aversion to the usual world crisis fantasy epics, but now there are so many that it can be seen as a subgenre of its own. Overall, this is a fairly middling series. The main charm points are the relationship between Red and Rit, which is comfortably relaxed and mature (the Rit-as-tsundere phase relegated to flashbacks), and the concept of Blessings as this domineering force in people's lives. Production values are passable but nothing remarkable. It's a decent little show that is worth a watch in my book.
