Volume II: Against the Higher Powers

 

The training exercises are over and now the time has come for the Ticonderoga to enter the war for real. While the Ticonderoga tries to seek out the Sheolites, it falls prey to a lesser known enemy in this war, the Empyrean. What is the connection between the Empyrean and the Sheolites? Can the Ticonderoga afford to waste precious time, lives and materiel on the Empyrean when the Sheolites could attack at any moment? Whether they can afford it or not, they will have little choice but to fight a two-front war. The only question left is can they survive it?
