Impressions:
If you have never seen any harem or magical girlfriend series, this might come off as a nice, comfy little series. If you have, you might be struck at how there's not really anything new being brought to the table. This is a McDonald's hamburger of a romcom and if that's all you want, that's fine. Male lead Shintarou is the typical weenie protagonist I hate and everything is so bog-standard that the only reason I kept watching was because I found Towa's voice cute and I rather liked Noel's awkward exuberance. (Lili is pretty good, too.) It really is striking to be so blatantly paint-by-numbers, but there you have it. Production values are decent enough and character designs reasonably appealing (no making jokes about what Towa's hair looks like), so as long as you don't need anything to stimulate your grey matter, it may be fair enough as a watch, but unless you're brand-new to the game, this will probably be pretty boring to you. Take it or leave it (and that's me being generous).
