Impressions:
A story with character designs by toi8 and Saori Hayami voicing the lead role? I'm there. Fortunately for me, there's more substance than that to be had. We follow retired adventurer Belgrieve in his country slow life and his adoptive daughter Angeline in her rise to prominence in the Adventurers' Guild (and her constant frustration at the Guild giving her assignments that delay her homecoming). If you don't find Angie's fixation on her father endearing, your enjoyment will be severely impaired. It might be nice if we dug into the worldbuilding more and put a little more meat on the side cast, but there's nothing markedly deficient in the storytelling. On all fronts, it's a competent, middle-of-the-road production that's enough to satisfy if you manage to click with one or both of the leads. It's just enough for me to say it's worth a watch, so consider giving it a shot.
