Impressions:
Given how much I disliked the first season, you might be wondering why I bothered watching this. Well, I've seen far worse isekai trash since then that my active dislike has been upgraded(?) to apathy. Not much of an endorsement, I know. Well, the character designs are pretty. That's something. Now, the idea of people from Haruto Amakawa's life coming into the world, introducing summoning to the current reincarnation dynamic, and setting up potential intrigue as the kingdoms jockey for the otherworlder heroes sounds like it could be interesting. It certainly sounds like it could be interesting, but the writing is hell-bent on making it not very interesting at all. Well, at least we get some flashy battle scenes, right? Not so much. The production values are mostly passable but nothing amazing, so the fights aren't very compelling. So what does that leave us with, other than some pretty character designs? Nothing but squandered potential. That being said, I can't muster up enough wherewithal to actively discourage people from watching it, so I'll just say take it or leave it (and probably if I rewatched the first season with my current mindset, I'd say the same about it too).
