Impressions:
I forgot to consider what the Japanese meaning of "black company" was when I first checked out this series, though that doesn't change too much what we end up getting. Our protagonist is a delightful scumbag who manages to be only slightly less scummy than his corporate overlords (and he gets bitten by karma enough to balance things out). Katsuyuki Konishi is the ideal casting for the boisterous Ninomiya. If you know about Japanese work culture (or, even better, if you live it), then the satire cuts deep and is honestly the series' greatest merit. The supporting cast is also pretty good and serve as a nice contrast to Ninomiya. If the series' sense of humor clicks with you, it'll be a must-see. Otherwise, the lead may be too much of a turn-off. As I'm in the former camp, I'm definitely going to recommend giving this a watch.
