Impressions:
From the PV I saw, this looked like it was going to take a similar approach as The Devil Is a Part-Timer, but this more closely resembles The Misfit of Demon Lord Academy, albeit with a nerfed demon lord who has to regain his power. I do like the casting of Satoshi Hino as Veltol. After all, if you want a demon lord, who better to cast than the voice of Ainz Ooal Gown? I like the idea of blending magic and monsters in a cyberpunk setting. The jobber energy of the starter villain is a little too strong to take him seriously, but the conclusion of that arc is fairly satisfying. The second arc feels a little rushed, but I liked Veltol and Hizuki's dynamic. Production values are decent if a little uneven as a lot of JC Staff projects tend to be. I generally liked this one, but I don't know if it has quite enough punch to give a blanket recommendation. If the demon lord in a cyberpunk world sounds like your cup of tea, go for it. Otherwise, you might want to pass.
