Impressions:
If we were translating things accurately, the title would read "How to Love Your Slave Elf Bride", but I was joking in my review of Mabotai how localizers refuse to put "slave" in the titles of series. Now, if this revelation concerns you, rest assured that the master/slave dynamic doesn't last very long and that Zagan never purchased Nephy with the intention of treating her like a slave. The core relationship of this series reminds me a bit of I'm Giving the Disgraced Noble Lady I Rescued a Crash Course in Naughtiness, only Zagan is even less socially adept than Allen. A decent chunk of the first part of the series is him coming off as particularly villainous due to his awkwardness. While the core of the series is Zagan and Nephy's clumsy domestic situation and budding romance, there's also the plot running in the background of the sorcerers' antagonism with the Church, the threat of actual demons being summoned into the world (as the "demon lords" are just the leading sorcerers with a connection to the demon realm), etc. There's a decent supporting cast and equally decent production values to make for a solid watch, though not anything amazing. If it sounds like your thing, give it a shot.
