Synopsis:
A secret organization known as Lycoris uses orphaned girls as assassins to maintain public order, but when one agent is suspended for disobeying orders, she finds herself sent to a cafe that serves as the front for the operations of another agent with a reputation for not following the rules.

Impressions:
So we have two action series from A-1 Pictures this season and what a difference. While I came to hate Engage Kiss, I loved this series from start to finish. I liked the odd couple dynamic between the cheerful Chisato and the stoic Takina and the synergy Chisato has with the main antagonist Majima. The action set pieces are basically John Wick with schoolgirls. Your suspension of disbelief is going to be seriously strained due to a number of weaknesses in the setting and plot, but if you can set that aside to enjoy the characters and action delivered with first-rate production values, you're in for quite the ride. For me, at least, there's more than enough good here for me to recommend this for your collection.
