Synopsis:
Arrested over a matter of a mere 500 yen, an ordinary woman finds herself in the company of notorious criminals known as Akudama.

Impressions:
At first, I wasn't quite sure how I was going to take the garish neon nightmare spread out before me, but I quickly took to the stylish dystopia full of colorful characters and big action. It's fun watching our heroine's descent into a life of crime, an ordinary person with nothing but her wits to keep her alive among these superpowered criminals and the fearsome Executioners hunting them down. Basically, the showrunners set out to make a cyberpunk Tarantino story and I'd say they succeeded quite well. It's a great ride and well worth a place in your collection.
