Impressions:
A bland vanilla protagonist is boring. A spineless mullosk always tripping over himself is lame. A hyperactive horndog is repulsive. And then you have our lead Arata, who has some elements of these three types yet overall projects a confident frankness that's fun to watch. Rather than the male lead, I would say I have more of a complaint that the female characters tend to be a little too bound to formula and don't get much opportunity to grow more rounded. It's a missed opportunity, but I suppose that's what tends to happen in these harem stories. I do like the characters well enough, but I simply feel their potential isn't capitalized on. The magic system is rather interesting, using conceptual extrapolations off the Seven Deadly Sins. I would say this is among the better supernatural harem stories out there, but I feel a little more focus would have resulted in an overall more satisfying story. If the premise and characters sound in any way intriguing to you, consider giving it a shot.
