Impressions:
I was drawn in by the quirky style of Bakemonogatari, so I was quick to continue with the series. The highlights of this season is the characterization given to Araragi's sisters and Shinobu. The ecchi factor gets ramped up, though, which might not be so objectionable if it didn't involve the two sisters. I find it ironic that in Bakemonogatari Araragi said that the only people with a siscon are people without sisters, only for him to end up being a siscon himself. They don't take it too far, thankfully, but it's still more than I'd care to see and if it wasn't played off for a punchline, it'd probably be a dealbreaker. Araragi creeping on Hachikuji is another running gag that falls flat for me. Senjougahara remains in the background and is indeed absent for a significant chunk of the episodes. I guess if you don't like her, it's a good thing. Although I feel a little more conflicted due to elements that rubbed me the wrong way, I'd still say this is worth watching, especially if you liked the previous season.
