Impressions:
While I don't mind a serious take on comic book material, it's a breath of fresh air to have a comic book movie that's just plain fun. Yes, Endgame's the big movie of the year, but enjoyed my viewing experience far more here. Zachary Levi may not seem like the ideal choice to play a superhero that rivals Superman, but he's perfect for the comedic side of the character and is fully up to the task of convincingly portraying a child in a grown man's body. Mark Strong provides good contrast as the villainous Dr. Sivana. John Glover was criminally underutilized, though. I would've loved to see more of him. If you're looking for a change of pace and want to spend a fun couple of hours, definitely give this a watch. Honestly, consider it for the collection. I think it'd certainly hold up to rewatching.
