Impressions:
I'll admit that the premise here isn't bad, but this is a rather lackluster film. There's some decent action to be had. Thanks to most of the cast being rather uninspiring, JCVD comes off as one of the best actors. Michael Jai White is good as the primary antagonist and Bill Goldberg can at least provide a good physical presence even if he's not that great of an actor. The hard rock accompaniment of many of the big action scenes is pretty rubbish. It's a very middling film, but if you were a fan of the first movie, you might find it worth watching.
