Synopsis:

Impressions:
Here's Rule #1 for the Leprechaun series: Do not take it seriously. Rule #2: Do not expect the filmmakers to take it seriously. If you abide by these rules, you're bound to enjoy yourself more. As with all series, the first is the best. This is notable for starring Jennifer Aniston before she made it big with Friends. Unlike some other movies that have retroactive recognition for stars of the small screen (Coma and Logan's Run come to mind in particular), Aniston is actually one of the main characters. The real star, of course, is Warwick Davis, who's clearly having loads of fun as the eponymous Leprechaun. I also want to give a nod for the character's design and makeup effects. If you don't like Davis' performance, don't go any further with the series because he's the ray of sunshine that keeps you going. It's a very silly movie, but what do you expect from a story about a killer leprechaun? If you've got a mind to have some fun, you should enjoy yourself.
