Impressions:
I found myself stuck on articulating my impressions about this film, so I decided to look around and see what other people were saying. There's a bit of detachment which makes it hard for me to speak positively or negatively about it. I'll frame it like this: If the idea of focusing on vampiric seduction appeals to you, then you may like this movie. If you need a lot of action in your movies, you're going to be disappointed, but if you find the characters engaging, you will probably have a rewarding experience. I will say that the third act turnabout was pretty good. In the final calculus, though, I'd say weigh your options before deciding to see it.
