Shaft in Africa (1973)

Synopsis:
Shaft is hired by an East African emir to infiltrate a human trafficking ring.

Impressions:
I was expecting Shaft's third outing to be a considerable step down, but honestly, it's not that far off from the original. I found it interesting that they actually addressed some cultural topics like FGM that tend to be avoided. The journey is interesting enough and the action set pieces are fair enough. It's not an amazing film, but if you're a Shaft fan, it should be enough to satisfy.
