The Double Man (1967)
Director: Franklin J Schaffner
Starring: Yul Brynner, Britt Ekland, Clive Revill
Synopsis:
A spy travels to Switzerland to get to the bottom of his son's death in an alleged skiing accident.
Impressions:
This is a pretty good thriller. Think of Taken if Bryan Mills' daughter was killed instead of kidnapped. As Dan Slater, Yul Brynner is coldly relentless, setting even his friends against him. The scenario is crafted so well that you don't really trust anyone, no matter their past history with Slater, and the situation doesn't get resolved until the very end. I liked it and recommend giving it a watch.
