Synopsis:
A call girl and a failed writer form a complicated relationship.

Impressions:
Let's get one thing out of the way. Yes, Mickey Rooney's super-racist Japanese caricature is terrible. Now that that's taken care of, let's turn to the rest of the movie. If nothing else, this movie features perhaps the most iconic portrayal of the little black dress. Audrey Hepburn does a great job of bringing the flighty, vapid party girl Holly to life and George Peppard plays off her nicely as someone who's really not so different when it comes to how they make their living. Both characters have pretty good arcs in which they come to terms with who and what they are. It's a good movie and--racist caricature aside--it's definitely worth seeing.
