Dial M for Murder (1954)
Director: Alfred Hitchcock
Starring: Ray Milland, Grace Kelly, Robert Cummings
Synopsis:
A man hatches an elaborate plot to have his wife murdered.
Impressions:
Being an adaptation of a stage play, the dialog has to do most of the work and fortunately, it's more than up to the task. It really is a treat to watch Tony Wendice (Ray Milland) craft his plot to murder his wife and then nimbly adapt when Murphy's Law steps in. It's good stuff and I recommend it.
