Synopsis:
Laura invites Ichika to a summer pool event and he proceeds to invite the other girls as well.

Impressions:
I thought it was rather out of character for the showrunners to speed through a pool episode, but sacrifices have to be made when you've only got 12 episodes and a lot of not all that well-planned material to cover. Thankfully, we get this extended version of S2E1 to give us a proper payoff and not just the yuri bait with Charlotte and Laura (which is lovely, of course, and presented in full). Is the pool segment outstanding? Not really. It's a fairly standard pool episode and you actually get some better moments in the summer festival segment that follows, but I appreciate not having to rush through the event the whole episode was building up to. Even if you weren't all that happy with how Season 2 turned out, it's worth checking this out. Give it a watch.
