Synopsis:
Hijinx ensue when socialites entertain an explorer who has returned from Africa.

Impressions:
I'll admit to having some doubts about this one. The beginning wasn't doing much for me, but once Harpo shows up, things pick up. The excuse plot is threadbare but even what they have is too much. Anytime the Marx Brothers aren't on the screen is wasted time. Some of the skits are more effective than others. There are still quite a few laughs to be had, but I enjoyed Duck Soup a lot more. I wouldn't recommend this as your introduction to the Marx Brothers, but if you already like their work, it's good enough to warrant a watch.
